We’ve decided to dedicate a post to our Toronto customers. We’ve had a few of these questions posted by clients so far this month, and we figured we’d shed some light on the printing process when you’re ordering discs, and what’s involved when you see items on an estimate or when you’re reading the specs of what’s included when you’re shopping around for CD and DVD replication/duplication. If you’re getting print work produced with your disc order, you may have come across references like 4/0, 4/1, or 4/4/. This is real simple.

4/0 refers to the 4 color process on one side of, for instance, a single panel insert or traycard. It means full color on one side and nothing printed on the other.

4/1 refers to the 4 color process on one side of the printwork, with black and white on the other.

4/4 simply means full color on both sides.
